Nurturing Dementia Project’ facilitated by ‘South Tyneside Churches Together’ project.

Storm Tempest were delighted to support such a wonderful and heart-warming charity recently for the ‘Nurturing Dementia Project’ facilitated by ‘South Tyneside Churches Together’ project.

Maria who give up her own free time to the charity wrote:

“Dear Simon and team,

On behalf of Churches Together South Tynesides Nurturing Dementia Project I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your very generous Donation for the GNR

We have facilitated 3 Dementia Friendly Christmas Services in South Shields, Boldon and Jarrow and your donation helped to make these services special for everyone who attended.

We were joined by 80 local school children over the 3 events and the older people took a great deal of pleasure from this. We were also joined by the Mayoress at our service at Living Waters which the people with dementia enjoyed.

We were able to buy each child a selection box and Christmas refreshments were purchased.
